Terrible ThingsA sombre silhouette trudged along the Shadowclan's stormy camp terrain, with a manageable pace. Thunder rolled in the sky just as the lightning struck; heavy frigid rain followed soon after, splashing into the soil. With every step the ruffled brute took, his paws sunk into the thick mud; allowing it to get embedded in between his pedals. His grey striped tail caressed against the side of the medicine cat den just when a young feline clambered up to him. "Hey dad," he spoke with a clear tone; the grey brute's cobalt orbs softened at the sight of this kitten. The dark matted grey young seemed infatuated by something, or someone. "Can I tell you a big secret?" Giggling with embarrassment, he held his thin tail in between his hind legs. The scarred medicine cat nodded without saying a word. "...I think I have a crush on another kit!" The lithe feline told him; looking left and right to see if anyone was intruding.
